Nouman Islam is a seasoned IT executive with over 20 years of experience leading enterprise technology functions across capital markets, fintech, agri-tech and other highly regulated industries. At BADRI, he is responsible for aligning technology strategy with business objectives, regulatory compliance and long-term organizational growth.

Prior to joining BADRI, Nouman held senior leadership roles at Pakistan Stock Exchange, including positions within the CIO Office and Project Management Office, leading the large-scale, mission-critical initiatives. He has also served as Head of IT at IGI Securities, Foundation Securities and Arif Habib Limited and held key technology roles across financial services and digital platforms.

He brings deep expertise in IT infrastructure modernization, GRC and large-scale program delivery, with a strong track record of building resilient, secure and scalable systems. Known for his balanced leadership style, Nouman combines hands-on technical depth with strategic oversight of budgets, vendors and cross-functional teams, emphasizing proactive risk mitigation, strong documentation and disciplined execution.
