BADRI’s Participation in KSA Insurance Industry Conference of Climate Risk and Sustainability
BADRI were honoured to support the inaugural KSA Insurance Industry Conference on Climate Risk and Sustainability. This knowledge sharing session for senior industry participants discussed the risks and significant opportunities for our Industry.
We are grateful to all the speakers that were very generous with their time. Some key highlights included:
– 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐊𝐒𝐀 An enlightening discussion from Amro Shawli (CIA, CMA, Cert.Dir), Adel Bagar, Fadi Al Qutub and Will Rhode moderated by Hasham Piperdy, FIA, on how these leading organizations already established ESG into their business strategies, in line with Vision 2030 and how ESG is aligned to Shariah principles. We also discussed how Sustainability is a key opportunity for the market.
– 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 An informative session on practices internationally including the UK, Europe and globally.
